Born and raised in Worcester, MA and having resided in Milton for over 40 years, Bruce Ravelson often looks to familiar landscapes as inspiration for his pastel paintings.
His artistic interpretations of these scenes come through in strokes that evoke movement; one feels the air brushing through the riverside rushes, or the rain pattering on the slick small town roads.
His work was in the June 2026 South Shore Arts Festival in Cohasset, MA. Other exhibitions have been at Zullow Gallery (Medfield, MA), Milton Public Library (Milton, MA), Milton Art Center (Milton, MA), and the Trailside Museum (Milton, MA).
